This workshop presented by Rodney Farrar,  former resident of Planet Yendor,  will require some advance preparation.  Participants will be honing their awareness of “pulse” in music making through counting, conducting, clapping, stomping, dancing, shouting and grinning.  We will be moving to the music of Mozart, Herbie Hancock, David Darling, and Bela Fleck among others.  Ensemble pieces to be enjoyed and performed at the end of the session will be chosen from the following:  Rick Mooney’s arrangement of Bile ‘em Cabbage Down,  Rodney’s arrangement of the Beatles’ Eleanor Rigby, Suzuki’s Twinkle Variations beautiful arrangement by Patrick Gowers and Rodney’s arrangement of Twinklebell Kanon.  Enrollees in this workshop will receive by email the appropriate  PDFs, sound files and video clips to prepare for the awesome event after May 1.
We will accept 40 students for this workshop and then registration will be closed.
