SAC's Tradition of Events

Historically, the Suzuki Association of Colorado has produced notable events throughout the year such as community play-ins, festivals, and workshops. Unfortunately, in the last couple of years, the occurrence of COVID had disrupted the possibility of holding many of these events.

Notwithstanding, SAC was able to hold online master classes and support teachers and students attending Colorado Suzuki Institute and Peaks to Plains. Now that the phenomenon is hopefully mostly over, SAC looks forward to once again holding more events throughout the state.

Here is a quick look at this summer's two outstanding state institutes.  Thanks to CSI and P2P for their contributions to this web page.

Peaks to Plains (www.ppsicolorado.com)

It was a such a pleasure to return to PPSI in person this summer! Hearing music in the halls and feeling the excitement in the air throughout the week was invigorating to say the least. This year, we had students attending from all over Colorado as well as from all over the United States!

Peaks to Plains Suzuki Institute is a special place. PPSI opened its musical doors in 1997 with the purpose of serving the local community as there was no Suzuki Institute nearby. We are known for our warm, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere as well as our amazing faculty and top notch programming.

Institutes allow us to gather as a community, make music together with new and old friends, and continue spreading Suzuki’s love and vision to future generations. If you have never attended PPSI, we invite you to join us next summer July 17-21, 2023. For those of you who are already planning to return - we can not wait to see you soon! Registration will open in February.

Best,

Flori Muller, PPSI Director
