Build a Successful Music Business

The Suzuki Association of Colorado (SAC) is currently working on a new business publication designed for new teachers that helps with setting up the business side of a teaching studio. Existing studios and schools will find tips and tricks to modernize, update and improve their existing business practices. To excel at teaching, teachers need to feel supported and financially secure. Much of this comes down to quality business practices and policies, but this is a huge task on top of implementing the pedagogy side of a teaching studio. This document, along with the SAC fall teacher workshop, is designed to make the business side easier for teachers. It will provide a list of business items to consider and reflect upon to make sure your business is set up to meet your goals and help you create the life you want to live.
